I read on one of your message posts that your inspiration for writing was Drizzt and R.A. Salvatore. I also truly began writing because of those two individuals. R.A. Salvatore is personally my favorite author and I believe Drizzt is the best character ever created. Anyway, excellent job! I really like it!

Sometimes I sit and think: "What the fuck?".

I totally do not like Drizzt, but I do love elves and drow. This opening may be promising, though structured as it is, it is a bit hard to read. A few more paragraphs with lines in between would have helpled the eye. Always remember, that this is not paper, but a screen you are writing for and reading on a screen is harder.

I wonder what wil follow up.

I don't like Drizzt because:
a) everyone likes him. He's a hype since back then and still is. Come on.... or maybe it's just me.
b) He's a MALE drow.
c) He's a GOOD male drow.

Normally I am all for non-conforming but come on...Drizzt is just cool because he is why I actually got into drow.

It would be like having a certain piano or musical instrument since you started playing said instrument. You become emotional attached to said instrument.

I do read other books (War of the Spider Queen currently) but I will always go back to Drizzt when there are new books coming out.

I fixed the paragraph thing. Is that what you meant?

Indeed, that looks a lot better now. It's not so sdense, the eye can better discern the paragraphs. And thus the stream is easier to follow.

It's a bit paradox, but indeed the stream, I think, is easier to follow, by breaking it.

And ... well maybe I would change my attitude about Drizzt, if i actually READ the books (no! I really haven't), but with so many people telling "Ooooh , he's sooo great", that is not very likely to happen.

I am the kind of person whos tays away from something, if everyone says it's cool.

Maybe if Drizzt would be female ... Sorry, can't help myself.

Catti-brie is female and she is awesome. Drizzt is just...I don't know why really. It isn't that he is a rogue drow but it is just how he acts, I suppose. There is just something great about a fighter that pwns so much but still has weaknesses (his nice-ness is a weakness, yes).

Well...I would try to pick one up at least. Can I recommend the new one that is coming out? I have already read it but it isn't officially released.
